LIS6445 Seminar in Public Libraries: Advocacy Letter to the Editor
Public libraries depend upon their communities and it is important to be able to communicate their impact. This letter was written to advocate for community support for my local library.

LIS6445 Seminar in Public Libraries: Government Meeting: Saint Lucie County BOCC
I virtually attended a Saint Lucie County BOCC meeting. The Board of County Commissioners can be exceeding influential in helping to secure support for county libraries. Having the commissioners as advocates can get new libraries built, new equipment, and additional staff.

LIS6409 Introduction to Library Administration: Strategic Plan Evaluation
A strategic plan is an important document for an organization. For this assignment I evaluated a library’s Strategic Plan, looking for strong mission and vision statements and clearly outlined goals and plans for action that aligned with the their values.
